Grant, 1569, November 2. 11 Elizabeth I.

Grant by Thomas Sekforde of Ipswich (Suffolk), esq., one of the masters of the Court of Requests, to Humphrey Sekfords his brother, Francis Saunders, gentleman, and Robert Mawe, of his manor of Woodbridge, with the rectories of Woodbridge and Brandeston (Suffolk), with all the lands thereto pertaining in the town of Woodbridge, Mertlesham, Bealings Magna, Bealings Parva, Grundesborowe, Burghe, Hasketon iuxta Woodbridge, Debache, Bredfeilde, Melton, Bromeswall, Sutton, Halloughtree, Waldringfielde, Brandeston, and Kesgrave; and also of his manor of Alvesburne in the same county, and its lands in Stoke iuxta Ipswich, lately belonging to Christopher Lawrens; to hold to the grantees to the use of the grantor and of Elixabeth now his wife, late the wife of Martin Bowes, knight, for the life of the said Elizabeth, with remainder to the grantor forever. Endorsed with livery of seisin.
